- Roti Jala (Lace bread with curry sauce)
- Kuih Ketayap (Rolled crepe flavoured with pandan juice filled with shredded coconut in palm sugar)
- Apam Balik (Pancake turnover stuffed with a sugary peanut filing)
This cookery class is suitable for adults who are interested in learning how to cook Malaysian and/or Asian dishes.
Participants will learn to cook favourite Malaysian or Asian recipes and be able to re-create these dishes in their own home to surprise their family and loved ones. You will learn how to balance local flavours and use the many herbs and spices to create a feast for your senses.
This class is about the Malaysian batter – bread, pancake, crepe. Flour is commonly used to make sweet and savoury tea time snacks. Come to discover the techniques in weaving a lace design or flipping a pancake in the air.
NOTE 1: This cooking class is for Adults only. Participants are NOT allowed to bring children to the class.
NOTE2: Students are required to bring their At 19 Culinary Studio RED Apron. (This item is available for sale should students wish to purchase them).
