Journey back to the old days of Malaya – romantic malay songs, pretty ladies in baju kebaya, colonial atmosphere and not forgetting….old favourite sweet desserts.
The sweets from old Malaya are known as kuih, a traditional snack or dessert with strong usage of grated coconut, palm sugar and glutinous rice among others.
This class focuses mainly on the traditional Malaysian kuih popular before the influence of the modernization of Malaya. Joins us to learn an age old tradition.
NOTE1: This cooking class is for Adults only. Participants are NOT allowed to bring children to the class.
