This is a class for serious foodies who wish to learn the basics of the different types of meat from how to cut it to how to cook it. You will also learn which part of the meat is suitable for what type of dishes and how long to cook it.
In this series, you will learn everything there is to know about Chicken. Come and join our chef and go back to basics to learn how chefs prepare and cook chicken. Learn proper cleaning, chopping, slicing and deboning techniques.
You will learn how to cut a whole chicken from scratch, knive skills, how to debone and use different parts of the chicken to do a dish. In this class, you will use the BREAST meat to cook the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu as well as minced filet for Shepard’s Pie. The chicken THIGH will be used to cook a delicious Chicken Puff.
NOTE1: This cooking class is for Adults only. Participants are NOT allowed to bring children to the class.
NOTE 2: Students are required to bring their At 19 Culinary Studio RED Apron. (This item is available for sale should students wish to purchase them).
